TBR Thursday #2
Someone on my wordpress feed did a post that documented additions to their TBR pile for the week. I liked it, and have therefore copied it!
This week, I added 8 9 books to my TBR pile:
It was a big week for YA. I love everything I've read by Brenna Yovanoff. Fiendish looks amazing. I'm trying to decide if I am going to dive right in or if I am going to wait for the Readers Imbibing Peril event to read this one. I've also been waiting for the conclusion to the Cahill Witch Chronicles since I turned the last page on Star Cursed.
I have not yet read April Tucholke's Between the Devil in the Deep Blue Sea, which is the first of the duology that ends with Between the Spark and the Burn. I've heard good things about it, though, and now that the story is complete, I am pretty excited about it. Finally, The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone was a bit of a flyer, but the blurb hooked me and the other members of my YA bookclub kindle account.
In romance:
Yeah, my obsession with Monica McCarty's medieval kilted black ops soldiers continues. I added books 5 through 8 of the series to my TBR. Book 9 will be released on August 26.
I've already finished The Saint and The Recruit, & I'm about 30% into The Hunter. McCarty has definitely hit her stride in the series. There was also a free novella that I snagged that comes between The Hunter and The Raider.
Classics:
This is the August read for my classics group on Goodreads. I had intended to start it earlier, but just managed to get going on it last night, since I've been obsessed with, well, you know (see above).
It was also a freebie, & great cover, right?

So, that's it for me. What about y'all? Did you add anything to your always growing, never shrinking TBR piles?
