Monthly Recap: January, 2016
I have provisionally read 16 books this month (although I have three in progress, and may finish one or all of them later today):
Two of them were audiobooks: Murphy's Law and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
One definite reread in the bunch - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - and three possible rereads, but they were read so long ago that I am uncertain: Death in Kashmir, Song of the Lark, and Meet the Austins.
Best of the month: Song of the Lark, The Archived and Truthwitch.
Most disappointing: This Is Where It Ends.
All women authors - 8 living, 7 dead (I read 2 books by Willa Cather).
Project/challenge progress:
Willa in Winter: 2/13 (Alexander's Bridge & The Song of the Lark). Currently reading The Professor's House.
Back to the Classics: 0/12 categories.
Reading challenge: 16/120.
L'Engleverse read: 8/17 (currently reading An Acceptable Time, preparing to start The Moon at Night).
Palliser novels: 0/6 (currently reading Can You Forgive Her)
LOTR Journey: behind. Of course.
Preorder Project: I'm going to have to come back to this one. I need to get it organized asap, or I'll never catch up!
