Rosemary and Rue - Seanan McGuire I love the world building in this book. I think that Seanan McGuire is an incredibly talented writer, and both of her UF series - this one & the InCryptids series - have outstanding world building.

That said, I will definitely read more books in this series. But, I hope that her plotting improves and that her main character, October, sharpens up a bit because I felt that the book sort of collapsed in the last 25%. Ultimately, I preferred her Verity Price series, although, as I said, I genuinely loved her version of San Francisco.
