Lawyer, mother, avid reader. Game host extraordinaire! Partner in crime to Obsidian Black Plague! My bookish weaknesses include classics, fantasy, YA, and agreeing to read more books than is even remotely possible.
This book brings together 3 of Connelly's recurring characters: Hieronymus Bosch, Terry McCaleb and Jack McEvoy. It's a perfectly acceptable piece of plotting, although neither the cleverest nor the most compelling of the Bosch mysteries I've read.
Overall, an average entry in Connelly's longstanding series. I've decided that McCaleb really isn't my favorite character - I'm not sure that I will read any more of his books (although I'm not actually sure that there are anymore books where he is the main character). The angst between him & Graciela just annoyed the shit out of me.
