Abandoned by user

So, it has been a while since a book sucked me in so deeply that I finished it in one sitting of 3 hours.

I sort of feel like I should just stop reading for the rest of the year. I started 2014 reading The Doomsday Book by Connie Willis - a book about a modern character who goes back in time to the Middle Ages, at the very beginning of the plague.

The symmetry of ending the year on this book - about the collapse of civilization following a pandemic - would be obvious.

Not that I'm going to stop reading for the next 18 days, because that would be sort of like ceasing to breathe. But, still.

This one will stay with me a while.
